New “Good Morning” Program

The Thornton Police Department is pleased to announce that we are implementing the “Good Morning” program for Thornton residents. The Good Morning Program is designed to communicate with elderly residents and/or other residents who live along to provide well-being check.

New Crime Tips Email Address

The Thornton Police Department has setup a new Crime Tips email crimetips@thorntonnhpd.org. If you have information regarding any crimes occurring in the Town of Thornton that you would like to share with us please send the information to the above Crime Tips e-mail address. You can remain anonymous or not it’s totally up to you. We appreciate the help in keeping our community safe.

Cram-A-Cruiser for Thanksgiving

It’s that time again! Our second Annual Cram-A-Cruiser Thanksgiving Food Drive. Visit us at Walmart in Plymouth on Saturday, November 10th from 10 AM to 1 PM. If you or someone you know is in need help with Thanksgiving, please send an e-mail to admin@thorntonnhpd.org. All requests will be confidential. Please e-mail by November 10th so we can make sure to get requests ready for delivery.

We had great success last year and hope to do even better this year. Thanks for your support!

Requesting Accident Reports

In response to a recent policy change occurring at Department of Safety, Division of Motor Vehicles, traffic crash reports also known as “accident reports” will no longer be available for release to the public and insurance companies by the Thornton Police Department effective immediately.  The reports, and the information contained therein is deemed proprietary by DMV and we have not been authorized to release it.

Members of the public and insurance companies are instructed to contact NH DMV for copies of crash (accident) reports or please call DMV headquarters at (603) 227-4040 for additional information.
