The Town of Thornton’s Police Department is available to the public 24 hours a day with 4 full-time officers and 3 part-time officers. The Dispatch Center is located at the Plymouth Police Department.
The Department provides services to approximately 2,600 full-time residents but must also stand ready to assist the influx of transient population which may reach 10,000 people during peak seasons.
